Sports & Fitness
At Heroes Camp, basketball serves as the foundational activity, offering youth a vibrant and engaging environment to sharpen their skills and enjoy competitive play. Our structured programs provide focused coaching and training to help young athletes elevate their performance on the court.
Beyond basketball, our facility includes a fully equipped weight room featuring treadmills, stationary bikes, free weights, bench presses, and a variety of strength-training machines. These resources are designed to improve overall physical fitness and build strength, supporting holistic athletic development.
Available five days a week, Heroes Camp promotes balanced growth in spirit, soul, and body, addressing the concerning reality that only 20-28 percent of children achieve the recommended levels of exercise. With childhood obesity rates nearing 20% nationally, our commitment extends beyond physical health to creating a safe, supervised space for children to be active, play freely, and grow within a supportive community environment.

Food
At Heroes Camp, we began with Mama BJ serving home-cooked meals while Pat shared the Word of God, creating a nurturing environment for both body and soul. We are committed to providing six home-cooked meals every week to ensure that children in our community are well-nourished and cared for. With 14 million children across the United States facing food insecurity, Heroes Camp stands as a beacon of hope and sustenance.
Our program collaborates closely with local food vendors and partners, supplemented by the expertise of our dedicated in-house chef. Beyond meal service, we empower children and families through seasonal cooking classes, teaching valuable skills that promote self-sufficiency and healthy living.
At Heroes Camp, we are more than just a meal provider—we are a community dedicated to the development of the spirit, soul, and body, ensuring no child goes hungry under our watch.

Bible Studies
The foundation of all that we do starts with the Word of God. We believe it is essential for children to receive a solid baseline of Scripture, grounding them in truth and wisdom. Each time we gather, we pause all activities so everyone can sit down and engage in Bible study together. These sessions are led by our experienced pastors on staff, ensuring guidance that is both knowledgeable and compassionate.
Our Bible studies are carefully tailored to meet the children where they are in life, addressing their unique challenges and questions. We openly discuss areas where people often face struggles and failures—such as race, sex, and money—offering biblical perspectives to help navigate these complex issues. Through this approach, we aim to nurture their spirit, soul, and body, equipping them to grow into well-rounded, grounded individuals.

Arts, Music, & Media
Expression of the generation adds a unique flavor to Heroes Camp by empowering children to explore the boundaries of their creativity through arts and music. Most Saturday mornings, there is a dedicated time during worship service when children can draw or paint. Many of these artworks become album covers for the music created in our state-of-the-art studio.
The studio itself is far from ordinary. Crafted by world-renowned engineer Gavin Haverstick, this Dolby Atmos-equipped space captures all student-led music produced in the gym each Saturday morning with exceptional clarity and depth. This integration of artistic expression and cutting-edge technology embodies the spirit of development in body, soul, and spirit that defines Heroes Camp.

Barbershop
The barbershop at Heroes Camp is more than just a place for haircuts; it is a community hub where meaningful connections are built and conversations flow freely. Staffed primarily by dedicated volunteers alongside a few professional barbers, this service is designed to serve those who may face financial challenges in covering regular grooming expenses. Our goal is to provide accessible haircare that not only meets practical needs but also supports emotional well-being. Feeling good about your appearance fosters confidence and strengthens personal identity, contributing positively to the spirit, soul, and body—the core focus of Heroes Camp.
